Haleakala National Park is a United States national park located on the island of Maui in the state of Hawai’i. The park covers an area of 33,265 acres, of which 19,270 acres is a wilderness area.
The summit area includes Haleakala Crater, the summit of the volcano, and the area surrounding the summit. This part of the park is accessed by Hawaii state road 378.

One of my favorite attractions. I am always surprised by what I see, either at sunrise or sunset! Get ready for very cold, even in summer. The trails are dangerous for small children, but you can walk around with them at the top of the mountain, tourism center and enjoy the view.
